Embrace Hiking - Wallarah Coastal Walk, Caves Beach NSW

A hike with scenery to rival the great walks around the world, what can we say except this is a spectacular part of the word to wander around! Join us to explore this beautiful coast...

About the Hike: Wallarah Coastal Walk is approx 8 kms, a grade 4, return hike that will take us about 3 hrs to complete. We'll start at Caves Beach, NSW and travel along the coastline, where there are many opportunities to stop, relax and take photos of the amazing scenery. We'll meander through coastal heath vegetation, along rocky outcrops and through bushlands before stopping for morning tea at a beautiful headland. Take time for a refreshing swim in the surf when we finish the hike.

Inclusions: 

Your hike hosted by Women Embrace Adventure (Wilderness first aid qualified) guides followed by a lite morning tea that includes tea, coffee or a cool drink and some delicious home-baked goodies! Photos of our adventure.

How fit do I need to be? This hike covers approx 8 kms of moderate to hard (4), there are some stairs, some hills, uneven levels of terrain as well as some paved walkways and grasslands, its got a bit of everything.  You'll need a moderate level of fitness to join us on this walk. If you're not sure about your fitness level just give us a ring, we're happy to have a chat and give you all the details. This trail is not handicapped accessible at this time and pets are not allowed. 

What do I need to bring?

-day pack (to carry your personal belongings)

-hiking boots, sturdy joggers or trail runners are needed

-hat

-sunscreen and sun protection clothing

-bug spray

-any personal medications you may need (asthma puffer/epi-pen etc)

-waterproof jacket (in case of cold/ wet weather)

-swimmers/rashie for after our hike

-at least 2 litres of water (remember we will be walking for quite a few hours and there are no water fill-up points along the way)

I'll be coming on my own, is that ok?  

Not a problem at all!  Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on this beautiful hike. We always have lots of fun, there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone.  By the end of the hike, you may have just found some new adventure friends!

How many will be on our Hike?  We keep our adventures quite personal and generally, there are between 6-12 women your plus your guides.

T&C's: Payment for Hikes are final once you receive a confirmation email.  No refunds will be given but you can be transferred to another lady over the age of 18 for this hike.
