POP UP Women Embrace Hiking, Wildflowers and Lunch Pretty Beach NSW

What a beautiful coastal area this is!  We start our walk by heading up and over to Lobster Beach - a sheltered beach fringed with natural bushland only accessible on foot (or boat!). It's a picturesque bay with views across to Umina and Pearl Beach. Once back on the main trail, we'll walk along the Flannel Flower walking track to Box Head Lookout. With spectacular views, we'll enjoy some morning tea before retracing our steps to our starting point - but we're not done yet! We'll head into nearby Killcare for a delicious lunch at the Fat Goose cafe.

Meeting Point: Pretty Beach, NSW. Upon registration, we'll send you details of the exact meeting point. We'll also text you driving details a few days before our adventure.

Length: The hike is approximately 8km long and will take us approximately 3.5 hours, including time to enjoy our surroundings, home-baked goodies for morning tea. We'll head to lunch after our hike. 

Terrain: This coastal walk has a bit of everything-beach walking, paved paths, bush trails, stairs and a few rocks. We'll be hiking on uneven ground most of the way.

Morning Tea & Lunch: we cater for most dietary needs, let us know when booking. The Fat Goose can cater for most dietary requirements.

How fit do I need to be? This hike covers approx 8km of moderate terrain. Beach walking, stairs, hills, uneven levels of terrain, as well as some paved walkways and grasslands, it's got a bit of everything.  You'll need a moderate level of fitness to fully enjoy this walk. If you're not sure about your fitness level just give us a ring, we're happy to have a chat and give you all the details. When starting any new activity, it may be a good idea to check with your GP, too. This trail is not handicapped accessible at this time and pets are not allowed. 

What do I need to bring/wear?

-day pack (to carry your personal belongings)

-sturdy joggers or trail runners

-hat/sunnies

-sunscreen and sun-protective clothing

-bug spray

-any personal medications you may need (asthma puffer/epi-pen etc)

-waterproof jacket (in case of cold/ wet weather)

-an extra warm layer in case of cold/windy weather

-at least 2 litres of water

-leave an extra set of clothes in the car to change into afterwards in case we run into cold or wet weather on our walk

I'll be coming on my own, is that ok?  

Not a problem at all!  Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on this beautiful hike. We always have lots of fun; there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone.  By the end of the hike, you may have just found some new adventure friends!

How many will be on our Hike?  We keep our adventures quite personal. On this adventure there will be a max of 14 women your plus your WEA guides.

Your booking is final once your payment is processed and a confirmation email is sent to you. No refunds will be given but you can pay it forward to another lady over the age of 18. If cancelled by Women Embrace Adventure a credit or full refund will be provided.

This is a women's only adventure. Valid for sale until sold out. Advertised prices are per person. Prices are correct as of 23 August 2024 and are subject to availability, withdrawal and change at any time without notice.

If this trip is undersubscribed or in circumstances where external events affect the viability or safety of this trip to go ahead, Women Embrace Adventure reserves the right to cancel or reschedule and to exclude/remove any participants from this trip. Your booking is non-transferable.
