About The Adventure
Katrina and Sharon would love you to join us for our Women Embrace Adventure Christmas Party.
🌸✨ You're invited to a blooming great party to celebrate the year of adventure with WEA. 🌺🎉 Join us for a night filled with floral delights, festive cheer, and the joy of sisterhood.
This is a dress-up affair, so dust off your most fabulous floral attire and get ready to party.🌼💃 Plus, it's not just a party; it's a chance to make a difference – our soirée doubles as a fundraiser for our favourite charities. Mark your calendars for a blooming good time with a purpose! 🌟🍾
Let's embrace the beauty that blooms within and around us. Spaces are limited, so sign up now for a petal-powered evening! 🌼🥂
The night will be a casual affair starting with a glass of bubbles on arrival as you mingle with the wonderful women of the WEA community.
Canapes and charcuterie boards will be available for you to snack on throughout the night, and drinks to buy at the bar.
If you like something a bit more exotic, get ready for a signature WEA cocktail that will be available as well.

A little bit about Jenny's Place...
Jenny's Place was the first refuge established in the Hunter and has supported women and children in our area for 43 years. The vision for the organisation was started in 1977 by a group of strong and passionate women who believed that women and children experiencing domestic violence deserved to have a safe place where they could receive the support and assistance they required to live a life free from violence and abuse.
Their Domestic Violence Resource Centre is the only one of its kind in Newcastle, and it has been running for 12 years without proper funding. Jenny's fantastic team have managed to keep the place running all this time on small grants, donations, philanthropic money and the very generous community of Newcastle.
A little bit about Soul Cafe...
Soul Cafe was established in August 2003 to serve hot meals free of charge to the highly disadvantaged of the Newcastle region. Today Soul Cafe provides hundreds of free sit-down and takeaway meals each week.
Many of Soul Cafe's guests deal with homelessness, drug or alcohol addiction, crime or violence, poverty, separation, mental health or illness concerns, and accommodation needs.
Soul Cafe's desire is to do more than just serve a meal. The ultimate mission of Soul Cafe is to see vulnerable cafe guests placed on a path towards increased safety, health and purpose. Soul Cafe aims to lift a group of people who are less fortunate to a greater level of lifestyle within our community through a comprehensive approach that assists them in working through their issues and re-engaging back into society.
The meals provided are an avenue to link cafe guests with other necessary services, including drug and alcohol and substance abuse programs, accommodation links, Centrelink referral, mental health counselling, refuge referral, haircuts, Legal Aid, Podiatry and a free doctor's clinic.
They are non-government funded and rely primarily on financial sponsorship from corporations and individuals and, to a lesser extent, on their own fundraising endeavours.
A little bit about Restore One...
RESTORE - A perfect description of what we achieve in the broken communities of Cambodia and Myanmar. Restore Homes - Restore Schools - Restore Health - Restore Jobs
ONE - Describes our dedicated, local approach to community development. One Family - One Business - One School - One Community
