About The Adventure

Mount Sugarloaf has been a source of fascination and inspiration for locals and visitors alike; with a history dating back centuries, the mountain holds great significance as a cultural and recreational landmark.

Originally known as "Pindari," Mount Sugarloaf plays an important role in the lives of the Aboriginal people, who consider it a sacred site and significant gathering spot.

Mount Sugarloaf later gained prominence in the colonial era, serving as a prominent navigational landmark for early European settlers. Many still use its peak as a point of reference and navigational aid. Over the years, the mountain witnessed the growth and transformation of the surrounding region, becoming an integral part of its identity.

We hope you can join us!

-hiking boots, sturdy joggers or trail runners are needed

-sun hat

-sunscreen and sun-protective clothing
