Women Embrace Newcastle Evening Walk, Wine and Pizza

Check out the Newcastle Foreshore at night with a group of like-minded women! This adventure is a women’s only, evening guided 8km walk. All paths for this easy walk are paved, well lit, uphill incline on the first half with some stairs at the Anzac Memorial Walk and on the way back it is all down hill.  Don’t worry we aren't in too much of a rush so just take your time, have a chat and enjoy the sights.  Back at the Surf House, we'll share a drink and pizza at the Pizza Kiosk.

Date: Thursday 16th July 2020

Meeting Time: 4:45pm for a 5:00pm start

Meeting Point: Merewether Surf House, NSW.  We'll send the specific meeting spot in your confirmation email.

Maximum Numbers: 8 plus your WEA guides

Fitness Level: A moderate level of fitness is required 

Experience: no experience needed

Length: walk is approximately 8kms long and will take us approx 2hours

Cost: $45 *Payment due in full upon booking and is non refundable however is transferable to women over 18 years of age.

• Wilderness first aid qualified WEA leader

FAQs

How fit do I need to be? This walk covers easy levels of terrain, most is flat and paved and only a few stairs. This adventure will suit all fitness levels.  If in doubt, check with your doctor about your suitability.  No one gets left behind with two Women Embrace Adventure hosts guiding the walk.  We'll have one at the front and one at the end to support all walkers.  

What do I need to bring? Warm comfortable walking/ active wear, sturdy walking shoes or joggers, extra layers as it will be cold, a beanie, wet weather jacket (if it looks like rain), at least a litre of water.  

I'll be coming on my own, is that ok?  Not a problem at all!  Lots of women come on their own to our adventures. Your Women Embrace Adventure host will make sure everyone is introduced before we set off on our walk. We always have lots of fun, there is no pressure, no judgment, and lots of encouragement from everyone.  By the end of the night you may have just found some new adventure friends! 

How many will be on our walk?  We keep our adventures quite personal. On this adventure there will be no more than 8 women your plus your WEA guides.

T&C's: Payment for WEA half day and full day adventures are final once you receive a confirmation email.  No refunds will be given but can be transferred to another lady over the age of 18, please email us before the adventure and provide her contact details.
